Welcome to Accent Landscape Lighting

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Why hire Accent Landscape Lighting Company? My Landscaper said they could install outdoor lighting.

Maybe so, but what if something goes wrong? Our business is dedicated only to low voltage landscape lighting systems. We will be happy to design, install and maintain a system for you. We can even repair existing systems.

2. Do you provide service after the installation?

Yes, and the first years’ maintenance is included with installation.  We also offer maintenance service contracts, which include two visits a year checking bulbs and cleaning lenses, resetting time clocks and minor pruning around fixtures.

3. I’ve had some rather extensive landscaping done already; will the installation of a low voltage lighting system damage anything?

We use the existing landscaping whenever possible to hide our wire runs. When necessary we use hand tools for minor trenching.  When finished, the fixtures themselves are usually the only things you’ll see.

4. What if my Landscape Architect (or Builder) wants to design the landscape lighting system?

No problem. Utilizing the full low voltage product lines of Cast®, Kichler®, Hadco® and Vista®, we are able to offer a wide variety of fixture types and styles to meet any designs’ aesthetic requirements.  If your home is new construction, we can meet with the builder and recommend where to place dedicated GFCI outlets as well as the placement of conduits or “sleeves” under driveways, walkways, streambeds and patios.

5. Why should I use Accent Landscape Lighting when I can buy low voltage lighting from a big box department store?

Because we won’t use inferior products, we can proudly stand behind every installation with confidence. A typical installation comes with at least a 1-year warranty on all parts and labor, and a 90-day warranty on bulbs. Many of the individual products offered by our manufactures’ come with lifetime warranties.

6. What does a landscape lighting system cost?

Depending upon the size of your property, and the final design, smaller systems start at about $2,500 and take 1-2 days to complete. Medium size projects are about $4,000-$6,000 taking 3-5 days. Larger size projects are $6000 and up.
